A Ray of Light & Education Events
The Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN) was started with twelve (12) executive committee members to enhance the professional growth of nurses working in Operation Theater. The executive committee consisted of operation theatre nurses from various hospitals in Mumbai. As per the bylaws, the committee gets changed every 5 years with members from various hospitals in Mumbai.
During the years following 2005, great strides were made in technology to enhance patient safety. Expert nursing leaders, microbiology doctors, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other teams collaborated to improve nurses' knowledge by delivering lectures during scientific sessions at various hospitals. The hospital leaders responded positively to these efforts.
